~ BIOGRAPHY ~

STENCH OF DISMEMBERMENT was born in October 2003 in Bari, Italy, from the ashes of PENIS LEECH (underground band with 3 demo tapes and many live gigs done). In the beginning in fact, the band includes Diego Fanelli (vox) Antonio Laraspata (drums) and Vito Laterza (bass). After several searches and changes of line-up, in February 2004 the guitarist Gianfranco Stellacci joins the band, and with this line up we record the debut MCD "CANNIBALISTIC URGES" under the Italian label Permeated Records. The sound is a brutal mix among grind parts and slam parts influenced by bands like Disgorge, Devourment, Enmity, Brodequin everything arranged in fresh way and with many tempo changes. After some gigs in Italy to support the MCD and other line up problems, now, from January 2008, Stench of Dismemberment consists of founding member Diego Fanelli (vox) and of the new sick addictions as guitarist and drum programmer, Mario Di Giambattista (Vulvectomy, Endaemona, Congenital deformity)and Marco Aromatario (guitarist of Exhumer and Corpse fucking art) as bass player. We are always trying to complete the lineup with a permanent drummer a.s.a.p. to restart live activities and record our next full length to spread our twisted and blasting brutality!!!
