Embryonic Depravity was started at the end of 2006 as a new direction for the band then known as Odium Incarnate. They wanted to go in a more brutal and technical direction with the music and so decided to change the band's name and start again with new material.
They recorded a 2 track demo at the start of 2007 and then set about playing a handful of great gigs around the UK including the London Deathfest. Towards the end of 2007 the band recorded for a split CD with Vomitous, Lypektomy and Gorevent (coming soon on Gutterchrist productions) and took a break from gigging after the departure of their drummer.
Now in 2008 the band are set to have a busy year, having just signed
to Permeated Records, and preparing to play abroad with a session drummer.
The split CD will be released in the coming months as will the band's
debut full length towards the end of the year.
